Peter Motsch, CPA, MBA, is the Partner and Leader of Client Accounting Services. With over 15 years of experience across audit, outsourced accounting, and advisory services, he specializes in delivering strategic, scalable solutions to business owners and private equity firms.
In his role, Peter oversees the delivery of client accounting services, including outsourced CFO/Controller support, financial reporting, staff augmentation, and process improvement. He also advises clients on transaction readiness, risk management, and technology implementation.
Prior to joining SAX, Peter was the Practice Leader of the Client Accounting Services group at a top 50 firm. His primary focus was to scale the practice, support clients from start-ups to multinational entities, and increase customer satisfaction across multiple practice areas.
Peter is a member of the AICPA and NJCPA, where he previously served on the Young CPAs Council. He has been recognized with the NJCPA Emerging Leaders Ovation Award (2020) and named to the NJCPA’s 30 Under 30 list (2015).
He earned both his MBA in Management and B.S. in Accounting from Montclair State University, where he has also served as an adjunct professor.
